Google review calculator
A better rating starts with better experiences. Put a number on the gap, then plan around the feedback you actually receive.
additional reviews
At an expected new-review average of 5, your modelled overall rating reaches 4.500.
Estimate only. A displayed Google rating is rounded, so your exact review total and underlying average may produce a different result.
How the calculation works
new reviews = ceil(current count × (target − current average) / (new average − target))
We round up to a whole review. The model assumes existing reviews remain unchanged and that new reviews match your expected average. With no existing reviews, the model starts with one review at the expected rating.
Ask genuine customers for honest feedback consistently. Do not buy reviews, offer incentives or filter requests to happy customers only.
